The Microsoft Dynamics Network has been established to monitor, review, evaluate and analyze all those Add-Ons that impact those of us that use Microsoft Dynamics. They continue to publish and update the very best Add-Ons for each Microsoft Dynamics Platform and its supplementary products.
This year DynamicsWorld had more than 500 nominations for a wide range of add-ons for them to investigate, the selection process is based on a number of requirements that are core to all businesses: value for money, simplicity of integration, ease of implementation, product support, effectiveness, add-on functionality and number of installations.
An add-on should also be able to increase and develop efficiencies without becoming awkward and unwieldy when integrated with Dynamics AX. It should also eliminate as many manual processes as possible. The best add-ons also allow for end users to work with a tool that sits perfectly within their organisation due to the understanding of the vertical that the end user is in. A true understanding of the common place business processes is essential. Above all, the add-on should be able to offer a distinct and well defined ROI. It is for these reasons that they have been able to analyse the add-ons that are available for Dynamics AX and have come up with their top 15 for 2012.
